restaurants

替呂氏夫婦找香港的西餐廳後,
腦裏多了一串英文字...
Sabatini, Toscana, Petrus, Amigo, Caprice, Chesa......

希望他們找到一家合適的餐廳為世伯伯母慶祝,
四十週年, 不簡單啊! 送上很多的祝福!

Vow, what a list, I have been to some:
- Sabatini: Fine Northen Italian. quite good-for-value lunchtime menus, situated at Royal Gardens so quite convenient. Nice atmosphere. Yummy ham.
- Petrus: French food. Champagne and truffles and foie gras...etc. Too expensive I think for dinner, the serves quite small and not that value for money. Great views and service, its good if you want to dress up and enjoy Versaille court-like formal atmospheres. But not good if you want it casual. We went there for our anniversary (see my blog). Dinner for 2 with a half-bottle of wine (No champage or truffles !) would set you back by around $3500-4000.

- Amigo: Mixed cuisine, famous for the capaccio (raw beef). Old world charm. Millions of well-dressed waiters attending to your every need. No parking (valet only). Food nice, value for money.

- Also one more to consider: Nicholini's = italian at Conrad Hong Kong. More modern feel. Nice sea bass. Nice service. Value for money. X'mas dinner for 8 around 1000 per head with wine.
